Create a contact vCard QR code
Share selected contact fields in a structured format, review the save preview, and know when a new code is needed.
Choose useful contact details
A vCard can carry structured contact information that a compatible reader recognizes. Begin with the name, then add the available fields you want to share, such as a phone number and email address. Check the spelling and digits. Do not include additional personal information simply because the form has room.
For a business card, choose contact methods appropriate to that setting. Anyone with the image may be able to read the information included.
Keep each field clear
Use a complete phone-number format suitable for your recipients and a clear address for a website. Avoid packing unrelated information into the name field. Keeping details in their proper fields helps applications that understand vCard offer an organized contact rather than an undifferentiated text block.
Arabic and Latin names may be ordered differently by different apps. Check the resulting display rather than relying only on the generator's field order.
Review before saving
Download and decode the code to check its contents, then try it with the contact application your recipient is likely to use. Field presentation and support for individual details can vary. When an add-contact preview appears, review the name, phone number and email before accepting.
Including vCard data does not mean every reader will save it automatically. A reader may show the text or ask you to choose an application.
Plan for future changes
Contact information embedded directly in a static code does not update when you change your details elsewhere. Generate a replacement when important information changes. If details change regularly, consider linking to a contact page you maintain. Explain that the code opens a page.
